An incredibly scenic race in the Mountains of North Georgia! The 600 yard swim takes place in the crystal clear waters of Lake Blue Ridge. The bike is an 18 mile out and back course crossing over the lake with picturesque mountains towering in the background. The 3.2 mile run will leave the Marina and head towards the shops of Downtown Blue Ridge. Racers will be cheered as they enter the Historic town, running past the quaint shops and restaurants to cross the finish line . Known for it’s post race meal and awards, the Escape to Blue Ridge Triathlon will host the awards ceremony and meal for competitors in the shade of the city park. If you’ve never raced this race before, the after party is one to remember. If you have never visited Blue Ridge GA, put this on your race schedule and come see why Blue Ridge is becoming a triathlon mecca!
